Filter Sand
At Ercildoune Sand we are pleased to supply natural occurring filter sand that passes VicRoads specifications (Type 2A). We have supplied projects across the Central Highlands and Western districts, including City of Greater Ballarat, Shire of Pyrenees, Golden Plains Shire and Moorabool Shire.
Our product does not require any manufacturing processes, besides screening due to the high quality of the product. We are proud of the fact that we do not introduce foreign products during any stage of the process; whereby creating an inferior composite product.
Ercildoune Sand has a number of delivery options, whereby we can deliver to site or load onto your trucks (ex bin).
Septic Tank Filter Sand
At Ercildoune Sand we are pleased to supply the major of approved septic sand across the Central Highlands and Western districts, including City of Greater Ballarat, Shire of Pyrenees, Golden Plains Shire and Moorabool Shire. References from the Council’s Health Officer available on request.

Equestrian Arena Sand
At Ercildoune Sand we are pleased to supply the surface arena sand to a number of horse training facilities, dressage arenas and equestrian complexes, as seen in Horse Deals magazines.
Our natural occurring product is safe to both humans and animals, providing adequate draining and a safe training environment, as well as having an attractive earthy tone to enhance the look of your arena.

Granite
Ercildoune Sand’s natural occurring granite sand is ideal for road base and access tracks. The granite compacts for an ideal base, while still providing adequate drainage.

Electrical
Ercildoune Sand has commenced processing sand with a low compliant resistivity for the supply of sand for bedding of electrical piping. This material is already been stock piled and can be delivered to site within a couple of working days.
